Job description
The Sales Engineer is a highly motivated, self-managing individual who has good analytical skills. He/she shows the software solutions to customers and he/she answers the specifications. He/she is able to select the best proposal to meet the requests of prospects and customers. In addition, through his initiatives, he/she will take part in the improvement of various internal processes to achieve the objectives of the company.
Main responsibilities
- The Sales Engineer shows in a clear and precise manner the different modules of the software solution AM-DIS and IN-DIS
- Collaborates proactively with the Senior Sales to prepare the most relevant demonstration scenarios.
- Understands the users’ needs, in order to offer our solution in the most optimal way
- Tasked with working in the key European markets, mainly Belgium, France, Switzerland, Luxemburg and the Netherlands
- He/she actively answers the specifications within the “Business Development” team
- Contributes to the achievement of sales objectives
- Works proactively in the “Business Development” department and collaborates effectively with other departments of the company, especially the managers of the consulting team.
- Collaborates effectively with the Marketing Manager to structure the customer / market communication and the marketing materials (Web, social media, …)
Qualifications
- Master in Finance or Economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience as financial software sales or as a business consultant in portfolio management
Essential skills
- Good knowledge of asset management, portfolio management and business analytics
- Knowledge of performance calculation and/or knowledge of the insurance business is a plus
- Good knowledge of French and English (Dutch is a plus)
- Good understanding of how software works
- Ability to easy understand the customer business needs
- Good presentation skills
- Ease of use of Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prepared to travel in Europe
- Dynamic, able to take initiatives and result oriented
- Ability to work and collaborate with others
- Agree with the values set by the company and be ready to convey them
